CPG Refine, together with its partners BASF Agricultural Solutions and Yara Ukraine, hosted a Field Day at the company’s potato starch production facility. The event focused on the use of high-quality certified CPG Agri starch potato seed and the impact of crop nutrition and crop protection systems on yield formation.

At the demonstration field of Central Plains Group Ukraine (CPG Agri), participants were introduced to starch potato varieties and had the opportunity to observe the performance of crop nutrition and protection technologies under real field conditions. The demonstrations highlighted their influence on plant development and yield potential.

The seminar sessions covered Yara’s crop nutrition programme for starch potatoes and BASF’s crop protection solutions, while also summarizing the results of the field demonstrations and presenting practical recommendations for further implementation in potato cultivation technologies.

Special attention was also given to the key aspects of contract farming, including cooperation requirements, partnership terms, and best practices.
